# Lifinity > Solana DEX designed to improve capital efficiency and reduce impermanent loss. Lifinity is a decentralized liquidity protocol on Solana that enhances yield generation. Lifinity is a decentralized liquidity protocol on Solana, focusing on improving capital efficiency and reducing impermanent loss. It targets traders and liquidity providers, offering features like concentrated liquidity with lazy liquidity provision to avoid frequent position adjustments. The protocol uses an oracle-based pricing mechanism and delayed pool rebalancing for profitability. Lifinity acquires liquidity for its supported token pairs and incorporates an enhanced veToken model with optional decaying, linear unlocking, and native tokenization. It also includes 10,000 animated NFTs called Flares, with proceeds from sales and trading fees directed towards buybacks and reinvestment. - Type: Project - Sector: Finance - Status: Active - Founded: 2021-09-01 - Profile: https://thegrid.id/profiles/Lifinity ## Products - [LIFINITY protocol](https://thegrid.id/profiles/Lifinity): Lifinity is a decentralized liquidity protocol on Solana that enhances yield generation. (Yield Aggregator, Live, Main Product) ## Assets - [Lifinity token (LFNTY)](https://thegrid.id/profiles/Lifinity): LFNTY is the governance token of Lifinity, a decentralized exchange on Solana. It was used to vote on protocol decisions and provided holders with exposure to the protocol's treasury and revenue. The protocol is no longer active following a community governance vote that resulted in the distribution of its treasury to token holders. (Governance) - [xLifinity (xLFNTY)](https://thegrid.id/profiles/Lifinity): xLFNTY is a tokenized version of 4-year locked veLFNTY and is a standard SPL token. It can be freely converted between 4-year locked veLFNTY and xLFNTY at a 1:1 exchange rate. Unlike veLFNTY, xLFNTY is an SPL token with standard properties—it displays in wallets, is transferable, and tradable. xLFNTY must be converted to veLFNTY in order to begin receiving protocol revenue. The tokenization allows veLFNTY to become liquid while the LFNTY it contains remains locked and cannot be sold.
