# Symmetry > Asset management for the internet capital markets Symmetry is a decentralized asset management protocol on Solana. It lets users create tokenized, programmable vaults with automated rebalancing driven by intents, auctions, and oracle pricing. Symmetry is a decentralized asset management protocol for creating and managing multi-token vaults on Solana. It enables anyone to build tokenized vaults holding a configurable set of tokens with target weights, minting a single vault token representing proportional ownership. The protocol serves traders, funds, treasuries, and builders seeking programmable market exposure without custodial intermediaries. Vault rebalancing is governed by an intent-based system where users specify desired outcomes and constraints, and permissionless keepers execute transactions when conditions are met. Rebalancing uses multi-source oracle pricing to determine execution. Creators can configure token weights, fee tiers, permissions, and cooldown settings for each vault. Developer tools and SDKs allow external teams to embed vault creation and management into their applications. Symmetry is used across trading strategies, diversified asset management, and platforms building asset management features on top of the protocol infrastructure. - Type: Protocol - Sector: Finance - Status: Active - Founded: 2021-04-01 - Profile: https://thegrid.id/profiles/Symmetry ## Products - [Symmetry Engine](https://thegrid.id/profiles/Symmetry): A decentralized protocol infrastructure that enables the creation and management of on-chain investment funds and indices, with automated rebalancing and real-time tracking capabilities. (Developer Tooling, Live, Main Product) - [Symmetry.fi](https://thegrid.id/profiles/Symmetry): A web application interface for creating, managing, and tracking on-chain investment funds using the Symmetry Engine protocol, featuring automated rebalancing and real-time portfolio analytics. (Index Platform, Live) - [Symmetry V3](https://thegrid.id/profiles/Symmetry): Symmetry V3 is a decentralized vault protocol on Solana that lets users create tokenized, programmable multi-asset vaults. It supports up to 100 underlying tokens per vault with individually configurable target weights, minting a single vault token representing proportional exposure. Rebalancing is automated through Dutch auctions using oracle price snapshots, while vault configuration changes and automation such as limit orders, scheduled rebalances, and conditional strategies are executed by permissionless keepers through an intent-based system. The product is in open beta on Solana mainnet, running alongside the earlier version of the protocol. (Index Platform, Open Beta) - [Symmetry SDK](https://thegrid.id/profiles/Symmetry): The Symmetry SDK is a developer toolkit that provides programmatic access to the Symmetry vault protocol on Solana. It enables developers to fetch vault data, load oracle-based pricing, create and configure vaults, and build deposit, withdrawal, and rebalancing transactions. The SDK supports both standard and extended Solana token standards and integrates multiple oracle sources for pricing vault assets, allowing third parties to build custom applications on top of the protocol.
