# AiMo Network > Trustless AI. Permissionless Access. AiMo Network provides permissionless access to AI models through a unified API with blockchain-based payments using the X402 protocol. AiMo Network operates a decentralized AI marketplace enabling users to access AI models through a unified API with direct cryptocurrency payments via the X402 protocol. The platform eliminates pre-funded escrow accounts by allowing on-demand payments using USDC on Base and Solana networks. AiMo developed the Amico Framework, an open-source edge-side agent framework for building autonomous AI agents on embedded devices and multi-agent systems. - Type: Company - Sector: Developer Tooling - Status: Announced - Founded: 2025-01-01 - Profile: https://thegrid.id/profiles/aimo_network ## Products - [AiMo API Platform](https://thegrid.id/profiles/aimo_network): AiMo API Platform provides a unified OpenAI-compatible API for accessing decentralized AI models with X402 protocol-based cryptocurrency payments. The platform enables users to pay for AI inference on-demand using USDC on Base or Solana networks without requiring pre-funded accounts or traditional API keys. The system supports standard chat completion endpoints with automatic payment verification and on-chain transaction settlement. (Developer Tooling, Open Beta, Main Product) - [Amico Framework](https://thegrid.id/profiles/aimo_network): Amico Framework is an open-source edge-side AI agent framework built with Rust and WASM support for deploying autonomous agents across browsers, desktops, mobile devices, and embedded hardware. The framework enables user-owned agents with decentralized communication and blockchain integration, supporting deployment on AI wearables and IoT devices. Amico provides developers with tools for building privacy-first agents that can autonomously access infrastructure and services through the Amico Protocol. (Developer Tooling, In Development) - [AiMo Agent NFT](https://thegrid.id/profiles/aimo_network): AiMo Agent NFT is a decentralized agent identity system where each minted NFT automatically creates an autonomous AI agent fully owned by the user. The NFT represents the agent's identity through an on-chain registration that links to agent capabilities and interaction history. (NFT Issuance Platform, In Development) - [AiMo AI-native App](https://thegrid.id/profiles/aimo_network): AiMo AI-native App enables users to communicate with their AiMo agent companions, facilitating agent-to-agent social interactions and task management with MCP server integration. The platform connects AiMo Genesis NFT owners with their AI agents through direct messaging, social networking features, and productivity tools for organizing notes and tracking events. (Developer Tooling, In Development) - [AiMo Smart Wearables](https://thegrid.id/profiles/aimo_network): AiMo Smart Wearables provides AI-native hardware built on the Amico Framework, bringing AiMo agents into physical form for constant companionship. The hardware solution enables enhanced personalization through expanded data utilization, moving AI agents beyond traditional software platforms into wearable devices. (Internet of Things (IoT), In Development) ## Assets - [AMV (AMV)](https://thegrid.id/profiles/aimo_network): AMV is the utility token of AiMo Network. It is used within the decentralized AI marketplace that enables pay-per-use access to AI models through blockchain-based payments via the X402 protocol. The token facilitates autonomous payments for AI inference, allowing AI agents and users to transact directly on-chain without requiring accounts or API keys. Model 1 - open data. The open data core is licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL) — a copyleft/share-alike license allowing free use, modification, and sharing for any purpose. Attribution is required: include "Powered by The Grid" linking to https://thegrid.id wherever the data is used. Derivative databases must be shared under ODbL terms. Trademarks, logos, and brand names (marked "Special TPIP") are not covered by the ODbL. For ML/AI use: training datasets that substantially extract ODbL data are Derivative Databases and must be shared under ODbL if publicly used; models must be attributed in documentation. Model 2 - commercial licenses. The Grid Data Service (TGDS) is also available as a commercial license.
