# Arc > The Economic OS for the internet Arc is Circle's Layer-1 blockchain for stablecoin finance, enabling enterprise-grade payments, FX, and capital markets with USDC as native gas. Arc helps enterprises and financial institutions access blockchain infrastructure designed specifically for stablecoin applications. With it, users can conduct payments with predictable dollar-denominated fees, access built-in FX capabilities, and benefit from sub-second transaction finality. Arc serves traditional finance and Web3 builders seeking reliable stablecoin infrastructure. - Type: Network - Sector: Blockchain Platforms - Status: Announced - Founded: 2025-08-01 - Profile: https://thegrid.id/profiles/arc_network ## Products - [USDCKit](https://thegrid.id/profiles/arc_network): USDCKit implements programmatic USDC payment automation through a developer SDK for Circle Wallets. The toolkit processes high-volume transactions, configures fund movements, and executes cross-chain transfers. The system manages gas sponsorship and compliance requirements while supporting integration across multiple blockchains. (Payments Infrastructure & Orchestration, Early access) - [Arc Blockchain](https://thegrid.id/profiles/arc_network): Arc implements a purpose-built Layer-1 architecture through Malachite consensus, enabling USDC-denominated transaction fees and deterministic sub-second finality. The system provides built-in FX capabilities while maintaining EVM compatibility and optional privacy features for enterprise stablecoin applications.
