# Auro Finance > An unbiased global financial system Auro Finance is a decentralized lending protocol on the Aptos blockchain. It lets users borrow the USDA stablecoin against staked APT and other collateral while continuing to earn staking rewards. Auro Finance is a decentralized lending protocol operating on the Aptos blockchain, built around a collateralized debt position model. It allows users to unlock liquidity from staked APT variants and other supported assets without unstaking or selling their holdings, addressing the tradeoff between holding yield-bearing assets and accessing liquidity. Through the protocol, users deposit collateral to mint USDA, an over-collateralized stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, while continuing to earn staking rewards on their underlying assets. The system relies on algorithmic interest rates and decentralized price oracles to manage collateral positions and maintain solvency. Revenue generated from borrowing activity and deployment of deposited assets into approved strategies supports protocol incentives and token buybacks. The protocol's flagship offering is the USDA stablecoin, complemented by the AURO utility token, which rewards depositors, borrowers, and stakers and can itself be staked for additional returns. Auro Finance is used by holders of staked Aptos assets seeking liquidity, as well as participants in the broader Aptos decentralized finance ecosystem seeking stablecoin borrowing and yield opportunities. - Type: Project - Sector: DeFi - Status: Active - Founded: 2024-10-01 - Profile: https://thegrid.id/profiles/auro_finance ## Products - [Auro Finance Protocol](https://thegrid.id/profiles/auro_finance): Auro Finance Protocol is a collateralized debt position protocol on Aptos that lets users deposit staked APT variants and stablecoins as collateral to mint USDA. The protocol uses on-chain oracles to price collateral and applies algorithmic interest rates with automated liquidation for undercollateralized positions. Depositors keep earning underlying staking yield while borrowing against their holdings, and can stake the protocol's utility token for additional rewards. (Decentralised Borrowing & Lending, Live, Main Product) ## Assets - [AURO Finance (AURO)](https://thegrid.id/profiles/auro_finance): AURO is the utility and governance token of Auro Finance, a collateralized debt position protocol on Aptos. It rewards users for depositing staked APT variants and stablecoins, staking AURO, and borrowing USDA, with staked AURO eligible for additional AURO and USDA rewards. The token also functions as liquidity on Aptos decentralized exchanges. (Utility) - [AURO USDA (USDA)](https://thegrid.id/profiles/auro_finance): USDA is a decentralized, over-collateralized stablecoin issued by Auro Finance, pegged to the US dollar. Users mint USDA by depositing staked APT variants such as stAPT, amAPT, kAPT, and stkAPT as collateral through the protocol's collateral debt position module, while continuing to earn staking yield. USDA maintains its peg through over-collateralization and algorithmic interest rates rather than centralized reserves.
