It represents members before EU policymakers to shape blockchain and digital asset regulation. Blockchain for Europe is a Brussels based non-profit trade association representing blockchain and digital asset companies at the European Union level. It brings together global and regional industry players whose business models rely on distributed ledger technology, giving them a collective voice with EU decision-makers, supervisors, and other stakeholders. The association is aimed at companies operating in the blockchain space seeking coordinated representation on European policy matters. The organization works with policymakers, academics, and member companies to help shape a European regulatory framework intended to support blockchain-based innovation while protecting consumers. It follows and engages on policy areas such as crypto-asset regulation, central bank digital currencies, anti-money laundering rules, digital asset taxation, data strategy, artificial intelligence legislation, decentralized finance, and self-sovereign identity. Governance runs through an elected board that takes executive decisions, a secretariat that manages daily operations, and an advisory council of former civil servants and academics who contribute expertise. Trademarks, logos, and brand names (marked "Special TPIP") are not covered by the ODbL. For ML/AI use: training datasets that substantially extract ODbL data are Derivative Databases and must be shared under ODbL if publicly used; models must be attributed in documentation. Model 2 - commercial licenses. The Grid Data Service (TGDS) is also available as a commercial license.
