# CIAN > Yield layer of DeFi CIAN helps users maximize DeFi returns by aggregating yield sources from staking, restaking, real-world assets, and funding rates. CIAN consolidates yield sources from liquid staking, restaking, real-world assets, and funding rates, then redistributes them across deposited assets for optimized returns. Users can deposit tokens to earn yield automatically, run leverage strategies, or access structured products for varied risk profiles. The protocol operates without KYC requirements across multiple blockchain networks. - Type: Protocol - Sector: Finance - Status: Active - Founded: 2019-01-01 - Profile: https://thegrid.id/profiles/cian ## Products - [CIAN Yield Layer](https://thegrid.id/profiles/cian): CIAN Yield Layer is a vault-based yield aggregation system that consolidates yield sources from liquid staking, liquid restaking, real-world assets, and funding rates, dynamically routing user deposits through optimal DeFi protocols. The system issues receipt tokens upon deposit and executes automated rebalancing across integrated protocols including AAVE V3, Compound, Mellow, and Pendle. (Yield Aggregator, Live, Main Product) ## Assets - [CIAN (CIAN)](https://thegrid.id/profiles/cian): CIAN is the utility token of CIAN Protocol. It is set to be distributed to participants in the protocol's Voyage Points reward system, which tracks engagement across yield strategies. The token has been announced but not yet deployed, with no contract address or blockchain confirmed. (Utility) - [WFBTC (WFBTC)](https://thegrid.id/profiles/cian): WFBTC is a wrapped fBTC token issued by CIAN Protocol. It is used for depositing into CIAN's fBTC Yield Layer to earn optimized yield through Bitcoin-related DeFi strategies. CIAN provides a dedicated minting interface that wraps fBTC into WFBTC for use within the protocol's yield infrastructure.
