The protocol addresses the friction of moving value between chains by presenting the exact terms of a specific swap path rather than a generic order book. Settlement happens wallet to wallet through NEAR Intents, an intent-based cross-chain settlement layer where independent solvers fill orders, so CryptoRoute itself never takes custody of user funds or private keys. Once a deposit is made, a live status page tracks the swap through to completion, and sanctions and transaction screening run at the point a swap is initiated.
