# Dabba Network > Bridging the Data gap in India with Dabba. The Dabba Network is a decentralized marketplace aiming to provide high-speed internet across India through local partnerships, using the DBT token to incentivize network growth. The Dabba Network is a decentralized platform that connects thousands of Local Cable Operators in India to deliver affordable, high-speed internet. It uses the DBT token to incentivize stakeholders who build and maintain the network. - Type: Company - Sector: Infrastructure - Status: Active - Founded: 2021-11-01 - Profile: https://thegrid.id/profiles/dabba ## Products - [Dabba Network](https://thegrid.id/profiles/dabba): Implements a decentralized marketplace on Solana blockchain connecting connectivity providers and users through WiFi hotspots. The system integrates local cable operators, hotspot owners, and end users through smart contracts, while managing hardware deployment and bandwidth distribution. (DePin, Live, Main Product) - [Dabba Lite Hotspot](https://thegrid.id/profiles/dabba): Hardware device for the Dabba Network designed for WiFi connectivity deployment across India. The system enables internet access through standardized protocols while integrating with the Dabba Network's tokenized incentive structure. The hardware features MT762AT processor architecture supporting multiple IEEE WiFi standards through a compact form factor. The system automates network reporting through regular heartbeat signals while facilitating bandwidth management and user authentication. (DePin, Live) ## Assets - [DBT (DBT)](https://thegrid.id/profiles/dabba): DBT is the utility token of Dabba Network, a decentralized WiFi infrastructure network operating on Solana. It is used to reward connectivity providers who build and maintain the network, and to pay for internet data consumption. The network uses a burn-and-mint model where users burn DBT to acquire data credits, creating deflationary pressure as the network grows while ensuring bandwidth is priced at a stable rate. Model 1 - open data. The open data core is licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL) — a copyleft/share-alike license allowing free use, modification, and sharing for any purpose. Attribution is required: include "Powered by The Grid" linking to https://thegrid.id wherever the data is used. Derivative databases must be shared under ODbL terms. Trademarks, logos, and brand names (marked "Special TPIP") are not covered by the ODbL. For ML/AI use: training datasets that substantially extract ODbL data are Derivative Databases and must be shared under ODbL if publicly used; models must be attributed in documentation. Model 2 - commercial licenses. The Grid Data Service (TGDS) is also available as a commercial license. See [Web Services Terms](https://about.thegrid.id/legal/web-services-terms) for commercial use that is not covered by the open data service.
