# DePINsim > The worlds first sim that pays you DePINsim provides decentralized mobile internet connectivity through crypto-enabled eSIMs with coverage in over multiple countries using blockchain-based payments and identity systems. DePINsim operates a decentralized connectivity protocol that delivers global mobile internet access through crypto-enabled eSIM technology. The protocol integrates telecommunications infrastructure with blockchain-based identity, payments, and data settlement mechanisms, enabling users to access roaming data services across more than 190 countries without traditional telecom contracts or centralized account management. Users obtain eSIM profiles and mobile data access through the application, earning data allocations through protocol participation and partner activities. - Type: Project - Sector: Infrastructure - Status: Active - Founded: 2024-01-01 - Profile: https://thegrid.id/profiles/depinsim ## Products - [DePINsim App](https://thegrid.id/profiles/depinsim): DePINsim App facilitates eSIM management, mobile data access, and blockchain wallet integration within a single interface supporting decentralized identity and on-chain payment settlement across BNB, TON, and Kaia networks. (DePin, Live, Main Product) - [DePINsim Payment Card](https://thegrid.id/profiles/depinsim): DePINsim Payment Card bridges decentralized crypto holdings with traditional payment networks through third-party card issuers, supporting BTC, ETH, TON, and SOL with real-time fiat conversion for merchant transactions. (Card, In Development) ## Assets - [ESIM (ESIM)](https://thegrid.id/profiles/depinsim): ESIM is the utility token of DePINsim, a decentralized connectivity protocol. It is used to access protocol features, connectivity services, and ecosystem functionality, as well as for purchasing eSIM data packages and settling on-chain payments. The protocol treats mobile data as a real-world asset that can be programmatically allocated, priced, and settled on-chain, enabling users to earn data allocations through participation and convert connectivity into tokenized value. Model 1 - open data. The open data core is licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL) — a copyleft/share-alike license allowing free use, modification, and sharing for any purpose. Attribution is required: include "Powered by The Grid" linking to https://thegrid.id wherever the data is used. Derivative databases must be shared under ODbL terms. Trademarks, logos, and brand names (marked "Special TPIP") are not covered by the ODbL. For ML/AI use: training datasets that substantially extract ODbL data are Derivative Databases and must be shared under ODbL if publicly used; models must be attributed in documentation. Model 2 - commercial licenses. The Grid Data Service (TGDS) is also available as a commercial license. See [Web Services Terms](https://about.thegrid.id/legal/web-services-terms) for commercial use that is not covered by the open data service.
