# DODO

DODO is a decentralized exchange and liquidity protocol built on its Proactive Market Maker algorithm. It lets users swap tokens, provide liquidity, route trades across chains and launch new tokens on multiple EVM networks.

DODO is a decentralized exchange and on-chain liquidity protocol that runs on multiple EVM networks. It offers swaps, liquidity pools, cross-chain trading and token launch tools from one web app. Its pools use the Proactive Market Maker (PMM) algorithm, which concentrates liquidity near a reference price.

DODO V1 pools offer single-sided liquidity around an oracle price and hold DODO's stablecoin pools. DODO V2 pools can be created permissionlessly, with separate pool designs for long-tail tokens, mainstream tokens and stablecoins. DODO V3 lets strategy providers run off-chain market-making strategies on pooled funds, posting collateral and paying liquidity providers a guaranteed rate.

DODO X routes same-chain and cross-chain swaps across DODO pools, other DEXs, third-party aggregators and bridges, with limit orders. The DODO Toolbox adds token creation, liquidity mining and Crowdpooling token launches, while a Trading API and widget serve developers. DODO is used by traders, liquidity providers, market makers, token projects and developers.

This data is provided under two licensing models.

Model 1 - open data. The open data core is licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL) — a copyleft/share-alike license allowing free use, modification, and sharing for any purpose. Attribution is required: include "Powered by The Grid" linking to https://thegrid.id wherever the data is used. Derivative databases must be shared under ODbL terms. Trademarks, logos, and brand names (marked "Special TPIP") are not covered by the ODbL. For ML/AI use: training datasets that substantially extract ODbL data are Derivative Databases and must be shared under ODbL if publicly used; models must be attributed in documentation.

Model 2 - commercial licenses. The Grid Data Service (TGDS) is also available as a commercial license. See [Web Services Terms](https://about.thegrid.id/legal/web-services-terms) for commercial use that is not covered by the open data service.
