# Gamma > A protocol for active liquidity management and market-making strategies Gamma is a protocol for active liquidity management and trading on decentralized exchanges, offering non-custodial LP vaults, limit orders, and perpetual trading vaults. Gamma helps liquidity providers manage concentrated liquidity positions on decentralized exchanges without active monitoring. Users can deposit into non-custodial LP vaults that rebalance positions across Uniswap V4, Uniswap V3, and Algebra Finance, place decentralized limit orders via a Uniswap V4 hook, or allocate to perpetual trading vaults on Hyperliquid. Vault rebalancing logic is determined offchain and executed onchain, triggered by price movements and asset ratios. - Type: Protocol - Sector: Finance - Status: Active - Founded: 2021-03-01 - Profile: https://thegrid.id/profiles/gamma ## Products - [Gamma](https://thegrid.id/profiles/gamma): Gamma is a protocol for active liquidity management and trading on decentralized exchanges. LP Vaults are non-custodial, automated rebalancing vaults on concentrated liquidity AMMs including Uniswap V4, Uniswap V3, and Algebra Finance, supporting multi-position management for Uniswap V4 and dual-position strategies for Uniswap V3 and Algebra Finance. The Limit Order Hook is a decentralized limit order book built on Uniswap V4, where limit orders are single-tick liquidity positions executed automatically through swap hooks, deployed across Base, Unichain, Arbitrum, Polygon, and BNB Chain. Perp Vaults are perpetual trading vaults on Hyperliquid using financial signal, momentum, and sentiment-based strategies. A portion of fees generated across all vaults is distributed to GAMMA token stakers. (Yield Aggregator, Live, Main Product) ## Assets - [Gamma (GAMMA)](https://thegrid.id/profiles/gamma): GAMMA is the utility token of Gamma, a protocol for active liquidity management on concentrated liquidity DEXes. It is used for staking to earn fees from all Gamma-managed LP vaults. Stakers receive xGAMMA, representing their proportional share of pooled vault fees purchased on the open market. (Utility) - [xGAMMA (XGAMMA)](https://thegrid.id/profiles/gamma): xGAMMA is a vault token representing staked GAMMA in Gamma's staking pool. It is used to claim a proportional share of vault fees accumulated across Gamma-managed LP positions. The xGAMMA-to-GAMMA ratio increases over time as protocol fees are used to purchase GAMMA on the open market.
