# Harmonic > Solana wins with performance and open, fair markets. Harmonic lets Solana validators source blocks from multiple competing builders using configurable scheduling strategies to optimize revenue. Harmonic provides Solana validators access to multiple competing block builders through an aggregation layer, addressing centralization in block construction. Validators configure their scheduling strategy for fee maximization, FIFO, SFDP-compliant, or custom, and receive full priority fee rewards with no intermediary deduction. It ships as a drop-in client for both Firedancer and Agave stacks with no vendor lock-in. - Type: Company - Sector: Infrastructure - Status: Active - Founded: 2025-11-05 - Profile: https://thegrid.id/profiles/harmonic ## Products - [Harmonic](https://thegrid.id/profiles/harmonic): Harmonic is a block-building system for Solana validators that coordinates a market of competing block builders. Validators choose from configurable scheduling strategies: 50ms Frequent Batch Auctions with priority fee ordering, FIFO, Maximum Revenue Strategy, or a custom configuration and bind to a builder running that strategy. A Remote TPU distributes incoming transactions to all connected builders, which construct sequenced microbatches and stream them to validators through the Block Engine throughout each slot. The Block Engine verifies microbatches, manages builder bindings, and handles failover transparently during slot execution. Searchers submit bundles via a Jito-compatible gRPC interface; tips are processed as compute-unit priority fees with full distribution to validators and no protocol fee. Model 1 - open data. The open data core is licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL) — a copyleft/share-alike license allowing free use, modification, and sharing for any purpose. Attribution is required: include "Powered by The Grid" linking to https://thegrid.id wherever the data is used. Derivative databases must be shared under ODbL terms. Trademarks, logos, and brand names (marked "Special TPIP") are not covered by the ODbL. For ML/AI use: training datasets that substantially extract ODbL data are Derivative Databases and must be shared under ODbL if publicly used; models must be attributed in documentation. Model 2 - commercial licenses. The Grid Data Service (TGDS) is also available as a commercial license.
