# Hecto Finance > It pays to be early. Hecto Finance is a Canton Network protocol that provides a tokenized pre-IPO index and a daily on-chain allocation game for exposure to selected private tech companies. Hecto Finance gives retail participants access to private market exposure by structuring a tokenized index of selected pre-IPO companies called Hectocorns. Users can acquire HECTO tokens, allocate holdings across the index, lock tokens to back daily predictions, and earn rewards based on performance. The protocol runs on Canton Network, a privacy-enabled permissioned blockchain. - Type: Protocol - Sector: Finance - Status: Active - Founded: 2026-03-01 - Profile: https://thegrid.id/profiles/hecto ## Products - [Hecto Allocator](https://thegrid.id/profiles/hecto): Hecto Allocator is an on-chain prediction and allocation platform deployed on the Canton Network. Users mint HECTO tokens by swapping Canton Coin (CC) and distribute them across a set of selected high-valuation private companies grouped as Hectocorns. A daily settlement cycle determines the top-performing company and distributes CC rewards to participants whose allocations aligned with the outcome. (Index Platform, Live, Main Product) ## Assets - [Hecto (HECTO)](https://thegrid.id/profiles/hecto): HECTO is the utility token of the Hecto Finance protocol on the Canton Network. It is used to participate in a daily allocation game, where users distribute HECTO across selected private tech companies and earn Canton Coin (CC) rewards when allocations align with the top daily performer. The token is obtained by swapping CC at a fixed rate of 1 CC per 100 HECTO, and secondary market trading is not available during the current distribution phase.
