# Talus Network > The AI Smart Agent Hub Talus Network is a Layer 1 blockchain for autonomous AI agents that can transact, manage assets, and generate revenue onchain using the Nexus framework. Talus Network operates a Layer 1 blockchain for AI smart agents built with Move smart contracts. The network processes transactions for AI agent operations, supports cross-chain communication through IBC, and implements native protocols for agent deployment and management. The system includes tools for creating, deploying, and managing onchain AI agents. - Type: Network - Sector: Blockchain Platforms - Status: Active - Founded: 2023-11-01 - Profile: https://thegrid.id/profiles/talus_network ## Products - [Talus Network](https://thegrid.id/profiles/talus_network): Talus Network implements a Move-based Layer 1 blockchain designed for AI smart agents. The system processes transactions with the Move VM, provides native primitives for agent deployment, handles cross-chain operations via IBC protocols, and executes smart contracts for agent management. (L1, Early access, Main Product) - [Nexus](https://thegrid.id/profiles/talus_network): Nexus functions as a development framework for creating and deploying onchain AI agents on Talus Network. The system implements agent management protocols, cross-chain communication standards, and smart contract templates for AI agent operations. (AI Agent Framework, Early access) - [AI Bae](https://thegrid.id/profiles/talus_network): AI Bae is a gamified social platform where users create AI companions by connecting TikTok accounts, featuring real-time chat and betting mechanics. (Social Platform, In Development) ## Assets - [TAI (TAI)](https://thegrid.id/profiles/talus_network): TAI is the utility token of Talus Network, a Layer 1 blockchain for autonomous AI agents. It is used to pay transaction fees, allocate network resources, stake to secure the network, and participate in governance. TAI also serves as the economic layer for AI agent operations, allowing holders to register tools and fund agent workflows directly onchain. Model 1 - open data. The open data core is licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL) — a copyleft/share-alike license allowing free use, modification, and sharing for any purpose. Attribution is required: include "Powered by The Grid" linking to https://thegrid.id wherever the data is used. Derivative databases must be shared under ODbL terms. Trademarks, logos, and brand names (marked "Special TPIP") are not covered by the ODbL. For ML/AI use: training datasets that substantially extract ODbL data are Derivative Databases and must be shared under ODbL if publicly used; models must be attributed in documentation. Model 2 - commercial licenses. The Grid Data Service (TGDS) is also available as a commercial license. See [Web Services Terms](https://about.thegrid.id/legal/web-services-terms) for commercial use that is not covered by the open data service.
