It lets users post to public channels without accounts, relays, or servers, using their wallet as their identity. Txtcel is a decentralized on-chain messaging protocol operating on Solana. It allows anyone to post to public channels directly on the blockchain, with each post recorded as an account the author owns. There are no relays, indexers, or centralized servers involved in storing or delivering messages, and no account registration or sign-up process is required to participate. The protocol addresses censorship and takedown risk in online communication by anchoring every post to the underlying blockchain rather than to a company-controlled database. Users interact through a connected wallet, which serves as their identity and authorization method, and messages persist as long as the network itself persists. This structure removes any single point of failure or moderation authority over stored content. The core offering is the public channel system accessible through its web application, where posts function as individual onchain records. Txtcel is used by crypto and web3 participants who want a censorship-resistant, permanent communication layer, including individuals and communities operating in environments where message removal or account suspension is a concern. Model 1 - open data. The open data core is licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL) — a copyleft/share-alike license allowing free use, modification, and sharing for any purpose. Trademarks, logos, and brand names (marked "Special TPIP") are not covered by the ODbL. For ML/AI use: training datasets that substantially extract ODbL data are Derivative Databases and must be shared under ODbL if publicly used; models must be attributed in documentation. Model 2 - commercial licenses. The Grid Data Service (TGDS) is also available as a commercial license.
