XGR.Network is a blockchain network, branded as XGRChain, built for deterministic on chain process execution rather than simple value transfer. It connects external data, rules, and smart contracts into audit-ready workflows, storing outcomes persistently and traceably on chain. The network targets organizations that need verifiable, tamper-proof evidence for compliance-relevant business processes.

The network's core technology, XDaLa, operates as a validation to execution engine that extends transactions into multi step workflows. It works across three stages: validation of transaction intent and external conditions, orchestration of execution paths through permits, limits, and triggers, and execution of smart contracts only after successful validation. This structure is designed for use cases requiring deterministic behavior, regulatory constraints, or controlled execution flows, addressing the problem of proving that a compliance process happened as claimed without exposing sensitive data publicly.

The offering spans the XGRChain network itself, the XDaLa workbench for building and running validation to execution workflows, and a utility token used to access network features. Public specifications, standards, and reference material are published alongside developer documentation, an explorer, and a testnet with a faucet. It is used by developers building on EVM compatible infrastructure, protocol and infrastructure engineers, and teams and auditors working on regulated or compliance sensitive workflows. ## Legal

This data is provided under two licensing models.

Model 1 - open data. The open data core is licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL) — a copyleft/share-alike license allowing free use, modification, and sharing for any purpose. Attribution is required: include "Powered by The Grid" linking to https://thegrid.id wherever the data is used. Derivative databases must be shared under ODbL terms. Trademarks, logos, and brand names (marked "Special TPIP") are not covered by the ODbL. For ML/AI use: training datasets that substantially extract ODbL data are Derivative Databases and must be shared under ODbL if publicly used; models must be attributed in documentation.

Model 2 - commercial licenses. The Grid Data Service (TGDS) is also available as a commercial license. See [Web Services Terms](https://about.thegrid.id/legal/web-services-terms) for commercial use that is not covered by the open data service.
